YEEDI C12 Pro Plus
The Yeedi C12 Pro Plus is a budget-friendly robotic vacuum and mop that has a couple of unique features. This robot vacuum offers 8,000 Pa suction power, which can clean dust and debris on all types of floors. It doesn’t require a dust bag in the auto-empty dustbin, and it has great anti-tangle technology. Although this robot vacuum lacks some of the premium features found in models like the Saros 10 or Qrevo Edge, it still handles daily messes and pet hair with ease.Â
PROS:
- Great suction power (8,000) for the price
- Affordable
- No need for a dustbag.
- Bagless auto-empty dustbin.
CONS:
- Inconsistent Obstacle Avoidance
- Reduced Features
Inside The Box
Inside, you get a ramp for the base station, an instruction manual, and a mop reservoir where you will install your mop pad, a robot vacuum cleaner, and a base station.
Overview
Up top, it’s got a home button, a power button, and a spot-cleaning button. It also features a LiDAR navigation system for true mapping, along with various sensors on the front for obstacle avoidance.
Underneath, it’s got a side brush, some pretty heavy-duty wheels, and anti-cliff sensors, which make it safe to use near stairs. In the center, there’s a V-shaped anti-tangle brush with a double-comb design that helps prevent hair and debris from getting tangled.
There are two different setups available: a vacuum-only setup or, if mopping is needed, the mop station can be installed on the back for vacuuming and mopping at the same time. The base station doesn’t require any bags, which is a nice eco-friendly feature. It can be emptied and reused without the need to constantly swap out disposable bags.
Bagless Auto-Empty Dustbin
For me, the standout feature here has to be the bagless auto-empty dustbin. This is both cost-efficient and eco-friendly. The C12 Pro Plus is able to collect dust automatically from the internal dustbin for up to 7 weeks, meaning there’s no need to worry about emptying it for almost two months at a time. The washable, reusable dustbin also removes the need to purchase extra bags.
Dust bags aren’t very expensive, but they can be inconvenient, and having to order them and keep a few on hand adds up. It’s great that this system doesn’t require any. Over the course of three years, this could save around $144 just by eliminating the need to buy extra dust bags.
Suction power
The included Pure Cyclone technology ensures that the air exiting the system is filtered, eliminating secondary pollution and keeping indoor air quality clean. The clear dustbin is a thoughtful touch, making it easy to visually monitor and know exactly when it needs to be emptied. With 8,000 Pascal suction power, the C12 Pro Plus is one of the most powerful vacuums I’ve tested in this price range. No matter what I threw at it, it had no problem sweeping up the mess.
Performance Testing
This vacuum had no problem sweeping up my messes. I tested it on various surfaces. I started with oatmeal on my wood floor, and it had no issues there at all. Then I moved on to coffee grounds on a tile floor, and once again, it picked everything up effortlessly.
Upstairs on the carpet, I crushed a bag of chips to see how it would handle a tougher mess. It managed to clean everything within the second pass. Whether it’s hard floors or carpeted areas, that 8,000 Pascal suction power really comes in handy and makes a noticeable difference.
ZeroTangle Technology
I have two ladies, one cat, and one dog in my household, which means I definitely need a vacuum cleaner that can handle hair, and this one does a great job. It features zero-tangle technology, which is perfect for pet owners. The V-shaped brush combined with a double-comb structure helps eliminate tangles effectively. I didn’t have to worry about constantly removing the roller brush to clean it by hand. It stays tangle-free on its own, making daily maintenance much easier.
Mopping Ability
When it comes to vacuum cleaners at this price point, you don’t usually expect much from the mop system. But the C12 Pro Plus truly impressed me with its Osmo Mega mopping system. What makes it stand out is the 480 high-frequency vibrations, combined with 6 inches of downward pressure. This combo mimics the motion of scrubbing the floor, and it shows in the results.
It had no trouble picking up milk from my hard floor, and when I tested soda on tile, it cleaned it up just as easily. What really surprised me was how well it handled chamoy sauce, which is thicker and stickier than milk or soda. The mop handled it without any issues. It also features two cleaning modes: vacuum only and vacuum with mop. When in vacuum and mop mode, it can detect carpets and avoid them completely, so there’s no worry about the mop wetting your carpet.
Mapping System
I definitely like that with the LiDAR mapping system, you get quick and accurate maps of your home. It was able to map out my downstairs in about 8 minutes, maybe even less. The fast mapping helps the vacuum form efficient cleaning plans, allowing it to cover more ground without wasting time or battery. With a 300-minute runtime, it can clean most homes in a single go before needing to return to the charging station.
Another feature I appreciate is the ability to save multiple maps. Since I have a two-story house, I created a separate map for the upstairs. Now I can easily vacuum both levels using the same system, thanks to the True Mapping technology.
Obstacle Avoidance
This vacuum actually did a pretty solid job avoiding obstacles in my home. It had no trouble moving around all the chairs and hugged tightly around the legs of my stools and couch. I was also impressed with how close it got while mopping along edges and under furniture like my sofa.
That said, it’s not perfect. Smaller stuff like charging cables or socks, things I sometimes forget to pick up, it didn’t always avoid those. A few times it just pushed them around instead of going around them. So while it’s good for most furniture, it’s not the smartest when it comes to tiny clutter.
Final Thoughts
If you’re like me and want a robot vacuum that actually does what it promises without costing a fortune, the YEEDI C12 Pro Plus is worth checking out. It handled pet hair, food crumbs, and even sticky spills with no issues in my home. I didn’t have to keep stopping it or fixing tangles, and the mopping feature was way better than I expected for the price. Plus, not dealing with dust bags is a huge bonus.
There are actually three models in the C12 lineup. The regular C12 has the same suction power and zero-tangle brush. The C12 Pro adds the bagless dustbin, and the C12 Pro Plus, which I tested, includes everything, plus that vibrating mopping system that makes a real difference.
That’s about it. For the price, it’s done a great job in my space, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a budget-friendly robot vacuum that handles both carpets and hard floors without much fuss.
