For everyday cleaning, it does an excellent job. The vacuum has 18,500 pascals of suction, which is considered pretty good in the market. As the name suggests, the Qrevo Edge provides edge-to-edge cleaning. It can extend its mop pads to the corner for better cleaning.
It also has a carpet sensor. It can automatically detect when it’s on carpet and lift its mop pads. For mopping, it does an excellent job. When you have a big mess, you will get a little smearing, but it will come back and re-mop to make sure your floor is clean. There is a sensor in the base station. If the water is too dirty, it’s going to tell the robot to go re-mop that area where you just cleaned.
It did well in the various hair tests. For example, 0% of the 7-inch hair got tangled in its brushes, where the average is almost 40%, and it picked up a better-than-average 80% of the flattened 2.5-inch pet hair on the carpet. It was also much better than average with carpet deep cleaning, where we embed sand into medium-pile carpet and weigh the dustbin before and after a timed run.

The Omni E25 is the latest robot vacuum released by Eufy. The robot has 20,000 Pa suction power. It’s something you get from high-end robot vacuum models like the Saros 10R and Dreame X50. In our testing, the Omni E25 did great work. It was able to pick up fine dust particles from floors and carpets as well. The E25 Omni also has a dirt detection sensor like most premium models. This sensor identifies the amount of dust and adjusts the suction power based on that.
The E25 Omni is equipped with their revolutionary floor-washing system. Most robot mops struggle with real-time self-cleaning, which results in the robot dragging a dirty mop around the floor until it’s completely filthy. This leads to a dirty mop spreading grime across your entire home. In Eufy E25, the robot washes the mop roller at the same time as cleaning the floor.
The E25 Omni also applies 1.5 kg of downward pressure to mimic hard scrubbing to scrub the floor. That’s something not found in any other vacuum we have tested. All these features make it one of the best value-for-money robot vacuums.

For mopping test, I decided to challenge the J15 Pro by putting three large coffee stains on the floor and letting them dry throughout the day. Cleaning dried-out coffee stains isn’t easy, so I wanted to see how well the vacuum would handle it. Cleaning corners and edges has been a challenge for most robot vacuums, but the X Pro Omni changes the game with its extending brushes and the roller, so it’s actually pretty neat.
It’s always fun watching these things try to avoid obstacles. I put things in the way to try to confuse it, but it actually navigated around all the objects that I had lying around. I just kind of put some of the dog toys around the bones just to see how it would navigate, and it seemed to go all the way around.

The all-in-one docking station takes care of the dirt for up to 75 days. It can also wash mop pads using hot water of 149° F (65° C). After washing mop pads, it uses hot air to dry them to prevent unpleasant odor and bacteria from growing.

Unlike premium models by Eufy, The Omni C20 uses spinning mops. While the premium models like the E25 and E28 use roller mops. The spinning mop pads provide good cleaning performance with 180 rotations per minute and 6N of pressure. In our testing, the Eufy Omni C20 was able to clean tough coffee and mustard stains easily.
Another great feature in this vacuum is the Pro-Detangle Comb. This feature makes it a great option for pet owners on a budget. These brushes make sure the cleaning is done without any tangles. In our tests, the C20 was able to pick up hair from hard floors and carpets without any tangling.

However, not all models are created equal. We’ll cover everything you need to know to make a well-informed buying decision.
Robot vacuum cleaners are designed to be as hands-off as possible. Simply start the cleaning process and stand back or you can just set a schedule in premium models and the robot will do everything on its own. The vacuum will navigate your space, sucking up dirt and debris before returning to its recharging station. The only thing you need to do is empty the dustbin from the base. In 2025, most robot vacuums can provide 70 to 120 days of hands-free cleaning.
Before buying a vacuum, consider these factors to find the perfect fit for your home:
Cleaning Performance:
When considering a robot vacuum, cleaning performance is key. In our tests, the robot vacuums with higher suction power provide a better cleaning experience. Typically expressed in pascals (Pa), this measures how powerful the motor inside the vacuum is. Not every manufacturer quotes suction power, but where it is quoted, look for a minimum of 5,000 pascals or more. Most premium robot vacuums provide 20,000 Pa of suction power.
If you have a carpeted house, our recommendation is to get a premium model with more suction power. As carpeted floors require more suction to pick up dust and debris.
For pet owners, we recommend looking for robot vacuums with anti-tangle brushes. In our list, all robot vacuums have anti-tangle features. However, premium robot vacuums provide exceptional performance. While the cheaper model struggles with pet hair pickup on carpets.
Navigation and Obstacle Avoidance:
Navigation is where you’ll find the most noticeable differences between robot vacuums. Cheaper vacuums will run random cleaning patterns, bumping around your rooms blindly, cleaning as they go. While they do get the job done, they’re not the quickest or most efficient and can miss patches.
Expensive models use cameras and LiDAR sensors to map out their surroundings before they get started. This lets them plan more methodical and efficient cleaning routes. With more advanced mapping, you’re also able to custom-define cleaning areas and set virtual no-go areas. This means you can instruct the vacuum to avoid a delicate piece of furniture, plant pots, or somewhere they’re likely to get stuck.
Cheaper vacuums can avoid these areas but will usually require the application of special boundary strips to prevent them from venturing where you don’t want them to go.
Mopping Performance:
In recent years, robot vacuums have improved a lot. Today, most premium robot vacuum models, like the Ecovacs X9 Pro, Saros 10R, and Eufy E25, can provide mopping performance as good as a proper manual mop. If you have hardwood flooring, considering a robot vacuum with good mopping abilities can help a lot.
Most robot vacuums use mop rollers or dual spinning mop pads. We have tested many robot vacuums, and in our testing, the roller mop pads provide better mopping compared to spinning mop pads. The Ecovacs and Eufy use roller mop pads. The robot vacuums with a roller mop cleans the roller as it mops, ensuring it never uses dirty water for cleaning.
Other Features:
Beyond the standard functions, there are several other features worth taking into account. All premium robot vacuum cleaners have Wi-Fi connectivity, allowing you to start vacuuming, set cleaning schedules, and check on the vacuum’s cleaning progress right from your phone. Some vacuums are also compatible with smart assistants, allowing you to start and stop cleaning via Alexa, Google Assistant, and sometimes even Siri.
Robot Vacuum Height:
Robot vacuum cleaners excel at cleaning below low-lying furniture, easily reaching under tables, cabinets, and beds. As vacuum heights can vary, to get the most out of your unit, you’ll want to make sure it can fit where you want it to go. The Roborock Saros 10R and Saros Z70 are currently the thinnest robot vacuums we have tested so far, with a height of only 3.14 inches.
Dustbin Capacity:
It’s also worth noting a vacuum’s bin capacity. Due to their smaller average size, robot vacuums need emptying more often than traditional vacuum cleaners. You can, however, find significant differences between models, with some offering as much as 0.7 liters of capacity, while others can be as small as 0.3 liters.
Premium robot vacuums with prices above $300 can even empty themselves. They have larger bins located at the charging station that suck the dust and debris out of the robot’s own dust collector when it gets full. This allows the robot to continue cleaning with even less intervention.
