Eufy Omni E25 Review

The Eufy Omni E25 is a complete robot vacuum cleaner with a base for managing clean and dirty water. Just like the other top Eufy robot vacuums, the Omni E25 is also equipped with the HydroJet system. This system cleans the mop roller while cleaning to ensure that the E25 is running with a clean mop roller. The E25 also has 20,000 Pa suction power, which is one of the best in the industry.

PROS:

  • Strong suction power of 20,000Pa
  • Uses HydroJet system for better mopping
  • Priced at only $899

CONS:

  • 5G network not supported
  • Weird navigation pattern

Design and Functionality

The Omni E25 has a transparent plate at the top that can be removed to access different parts of the robot. On top of the vacuum, we have the iPath Laser navigation system. There’s a button on top that lets you remove the water tank and dust bag. However, you don’t need it, as the base empties it automatically. The main purpose is to make it easier for you to change parts if needed.

There are sensors all around the robot vacuum, a camera, and an LED on the front to navigate in dark rooms or under furniture. The LED helps with object avoidance in dark rooms.

E25 omni bottom side

On the bottom side, you have two side brushes to push dust into the vacuum. Normally the robot vacuums we tested have only one side brush. The two side brushes make the E25 Omni more efficient in picking up dust. In the center, you have DuoSpiral Detangle Brushes that prevent hair tangles. The last thing is the roller mop. It can be easily removed for replacement or cleaning purposes. This roller rotates 360 times per minute and is 29 centimeters long. The roller mop applies 1.5k of downward pressure to ensure maximum floor cleaning.

Omni E25 Setup

Setting it up for the first time was pretty easy. Everything is clearly marked, So, there’s no risk of forgetting anything. You can find the manual inside the box. You can use it for easy setup.

Adding to the Eufy App

Adding your O25 omni to Eufy’s mobile app isn’t complicated. You can install the app by scanning the QR code on the manual or you can simply search for it on the app store.

Once the app is installed, the first step is to create an account if you don’t already have one. You can then go to the ‘add a device’ section. Find Omni E25 from the list. To connect your E25, you need to press and hold both the home and start buttons for 3 seconds to activate bluetooth mood.

Now the eufy will get access to the wifi network. Make sure you have 2.4 GHz internet, as the eufy does not support the 5G network. In a few minutes the connection will be done.

Eufy E25 Mapping

Once the robot vacuum is added in your app, you can launch the first mapping. The robot vacuum will get to know your home and will make a map of the whole home. You can create maps for multiple floors. The vacuum is very quick at making the map. It took 10 minutes to cover an area of 63 meters. The app also allows you to use a 2D or 3D map. You can set no-go zones as well.

The robot was able to identify bathrooms and bedrooms on its own. Once the robot is done making the map, you can customize it as you like. Set up the rooms, kitchen, and office. The whole process was pretty easy and quick. The whole process took me about 15 minutes only.

Omni E25 Cleaning Performance

The E25 is equipped with 20,000 Pa suction power. It’s something you get from high-end robot vacuum models like the Saros 10R and Dreame X50. In our cleaning test, the Omni E25 did great. It was able to pick up fine dust particles from floors and carpets as well.

We also tested the E25 by placing some toys, chairs, and other objects like cables in its way. The robot was able to avoid them all. It can also detect 200+ objects. It also has an LED at the front to help with obstacle avoidance in dark environments or under furniture. The E25 Omni uses iPath Laser Navigation for precise and optimal cleaning routes.

The E25 Omni also has a dirt detection sensor like most premium models. This sensor identifies the amount of dust and adjusts the suction power based on that.

Mopping Performance

One of the most impressive features of this E25 is the HydroJet system. Just like the previous models by Eufy, the E25 Omni is also equipped with their revolutionary floor-washing system. Most robot mops struggle with real-time self-cleaning, which results in the robot dragging a dirty mop around the floor until it’s completely filthy. This leads to a dirty mop spreading grime across your entire home.

Now, the HydroJet system addresses this by performing self-cleaning at high speeds of 180 RPM, scrubbing the mop 360 times per minute using dual internal scrapers. After cleaning, the E25 Omni applies 1.5 kg of downward pressure to mimic hard scrubbing to scrub the floor. That’s something not found in any other vacuum we have tested.

To test its mopping performance, we dropped some ketchup on the floor. And it really impressed us. The robot was able to clean the ketchup in just a single pass and it didn’t leave any trace. In our mopping test this vacuum was able to earn 9 points out of 10.

Eufy Omni E25 vs E28

The major difference between the Omni E25 and E28 robot vacuums is the base station. The Omni E28 features a FlexiOne portable deep cleaner. You can use this tool manually to clean areas that your robot vacuum can not reach, like stairs, sofas, and chairs. The E25 Omni does not have this feature. The Omni E25 is ideal for those who already have a separate spot-cleaning device.

Eufy Omni E25 vs E28

Both robot vacuums provide a suction power of 20,000 Pa, which is currently one of the best in the industry. In our testing, the E28 and E25 performed great at picking up dust and other large debris.

Both robots are equipped with a 5,200 mAh battery, providing a total runtime of 180 minutes.

Final Thoughts

Overall, I think the Eufy Omni E25 is one of the best robot vacuums that has everything in it. The current price of this vacuum is only $899, which is much less compared to its competitors. The features this robot vacuum provides are seen in premium models only, like the Saros 10R, Dreame X50 Ultra, and the Ecovacs Deebot X9 Pro Omni.

The robot vacuum also performed well in our dust pickup and mopping tests. The duospiral brushes are great for pet hair too. And don’t forget the HydroJet system; it provides one of the best mopping.

Its combination of 20,000 Pa powerful suction, advanced mopping technology, and user-friendly features makes it a standout choice for anyone looking to enhance their home cleaning routine.
